¿Qué haces este viernes? (19-5-11)
So, today is Thursday. Yesterday I decided to go see my Rotary counselor, who I haven´t seen in forever.

It’s really hot. And it’s April. In America it’s not this hot haha. One of the girls in my class almost passed out yesterday, but it makes sense since she was wearing leggings, boots, and a sweater. (It’s really cold in the mornings and then it gets mad hott at like, noon.)

Que dia mas bueno! This morning we went to my tutor’s restaurant opening in Tres Cantos (a town in the north of Madrid). It’s amazing, mostly because my tutor Carlos cooks so so so well. I’m sure he’s going to be really very successful.
Everything was set up in a tapas kind of atmosphere so there were plates everywhere and forks and knives and people grabbing off of other...

Buuuuenoo. Ahora Paris (27-2-11)
Paz and I went to París for a viaje de chicas el dia 7 de enero hasta el dia 10. It was soo much fun :) I never really had a huge desire to go to Paris, but we picked it because of cheap tickets and I did actually want to see it. Now that I´ve been I see why everyone wants to go there, it´s so amazing!
We were staying right by La Grande Roue, so we were in a cute little neighborhood. Right...

Enero- un resumen muy pequeño (11-2-11)
New years in Spain is the coolest thing. In Spanish class in the US we did the whole ¨eat 12 grapes¨ thing, but in Spain it´s true haha. We went to a friend of Paz´s house for the New Year´s dinner and the party after. The theme was black and red, so everyone and everything was decorated haha.

I feel bad cause I haven’t written anything in a long time.
Last week I went to Barcelona, Cadaques, Figueres, Girona, and Montserrat. It was amazing :] We went to see Dali’s house and his museum, Park Guell, and a ton more.
We only had school for three days this week, but I only went to two because I was sick on Wednesday.

1) Spanish people like perfume
-every store I’ve gone in has its own smell, which is usually realllllly good
-every person I pass on streets smells really good
-my house has probably 14 different kinds of perfume and cologne

The weather is nice! Not hot enough to sweat but not cold at all.
Two days ago we went to Madrid to look around, yesterday…. what did I do… laughed a lot at dinner lol. I laughed so hard I cried. Twice.
Today I went shopping in Madrid with my cousin and bought earings. She’s really cool. When I speak Spanish we’re gonna be tight haha.

Every day you are there it will get easier and easier to understand and use the language, I’m sure. Give yourself a break! And remember, there are very few 16 year olds bold enough to do what you are doing.

Well I’m here! Everything with my fl,ights went really really smoothly. When I left from Philadelphia I sat next to this nice old couple, Betty and Chuck. They were both so nice, though Betty did near all the talking while Chuck would start a story and let Betty finish it. They were so sweet !
I get to Heathrow. Wow. If you think you’ve been to a big airport, you haven’t....

It’s official. I’ve bought my plane ticket and everything! I will be leaving September second on the 545 flight out of philly, and getting to Madrid around 1045 the next day.
Now I just have some final USA things to wrap up, and then I’m officially gone! I’m really going to enjoy having my license though… for the whole twenty days I’m still in America. Good...
